South London born actress Mia Tharia began her acting career with the Brixton Youth Theatre and the Burnt Orange Theatre Company, before being cast in popular BBC Three teen drama Phoenix Rise in 2023.
The 19-year-old then starred in critically acclaimed BBC drama The Listeners, playing the role of Rebecca Hall’s daughter, before making her film debut in Ariane Labed’s September Says, which premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. 2025 will see her biggest role to date starring in Taika Waititi’s science fiction film Klara and the Sun, opposite Jenna Ortega and Amy Adams.
